Weekly Classes

During the April province-wide lock down, we will once again return to online only classes. View the week-at-a-glance to find the day and time that suits your schedule and browse the class descriptions, below, to find out more about the classes and our team of qualified teachers.

Your In Person class passes can be used to attend any of the April online classes. Or purchase online only passes for just $10/class.

Pre-registration is required. The zoom link will be emailed to you 30 mins before class time. If you book within 30 mins of class start time, you will find the link on the Momoyoga page for that class. Please get in touch any time if you have issues getting connected.

If you are new to Stream Yoga + Meditation, you must complete our Personal Health Questionnaire and Waiver to Participate before attending your first class.

Barre Fit

Free Your Mind Flow (Tue)

Get out of your head and into your body in this creatively sequenced 60-min Hatha Flow class, featuring imaginative flows, peak poses. A fun and challenging class!

The Gentle Yogi

Enjoy an easeful 60-min modified Hatha Chair Yoga class, with a series of postures (asanas) refined to suit any ability, and with breath work (pranayama) to help you reduce stress, increase strength, focus and flexibility.

Join us for these weekly insight (vipassana) meditation sessions, designed to help you start and/or support a regular at-home meditation practice. Learn and gain confidence with mindfulness habits that can transform your life. Suitable for new or experienced meditators.

Divine Align

A morning hatha yoga practice designed to centre, stretch and prepare the mind body and spirit for the day! This alignment focused, heart-centred practice is supportive, gentle and available to every body.

The Gentle Yogi

Mindful Flow

Ease in with Yin

Ease into a 75-min practice of Yin Yoga. In this introspective class, we’ll slow down and breathe deeply while settling into longer-held postures, encouraging the release of muscular tension, and targeting fascia and connective tissues.

Embrace the Morning Flow

With Jen Vince

Wake up and get yourself moving in this 60-min yoga flow class combining postures and breath work to help reduce stress, increase strength, focus and flexibility in both body and mind.

Root to Rise

With Megan Bennett or Jen Vince

Start your weekend reconnecting with yourself. ‘Rooting’ to create a foundation, alignment and confidence; ‘Rising’ to create spaciousness, flexibility and ease. This Saturday morning 60-min Hatha will be alternately led by Megan Bennett and Jen Vince.

Prenatal Yoga

With Megan Bennett or Amber Lagace

Gather with other moms-to-be for an hour of mindful movement. Yoga during pregnancy can: improve your sleep; reduce stress and anxiety; increase strength, flexibility and endurance; and reduce lower back pain, nausea, headaches and shortness of breath. This 60-min Prenatal class will be alternately led by Megan Bennett and Amber Lagace.

Move Breathe Be

With Heather Fenton

Join us for an easeful hour combining mindful movement and meditation. Suitable for all levels. Bring a beginner’s mind.

On the last Sunday of each month this session is replaced with our Dharma Study Group, a 2-hour Insight Meditation (Vipassana) Mini Retreat. Offered freely, by donation. Ask us for more details!

Courses

Courses are a pre-registered set of classes, offered as a unit of study over a period of days, weeks or months. Courses provide the opportunity to practice consistently with a group of peers, while deepening your knowledge of and commitment to well-being through the practices of yoga + meditation.

Teen Yoga

With Amber Lagace

An 8-week course designed for teens to develop a healthy lifestyle through the practice of yoga and mindfulness. We’ll focus on body awareness, confidence, compassion, inner and outer strength and flexibility. Ages 13-18.

COVID-19 Safety Plan:

In-Person class size is limited to 9 students per class.

Do not come to the studio if you have any symptoms. Please refer to the Ontario COVID-19 Screening Tool.

You are required to wear a mask as you arrive and leave, and any time you are not actively practicing on your mat. Please maintain social distancing and no touching/hugging. As you arrive, please be mindful of the entrance and allow for social distancing as you enter the lobby.

Please wash your hands regularly and make use of the hand sanitizer provided.

The studio will not have props (other than chairs) available for the duration of the coronavirus outbreak, so please bring anything you require to make your practice comfortable: water bottle, blanket, cushion, blocks, straps, etc. Please check the class/event description or check with your instructor for a list of props that are recommended to bring for the class. We will have some props, including inexpensive yoga mats ($15) available for purchase.
