Learn simple practices to bring ease and insight into your life. Explore with us the possibility that our anxiety, sadness, fear and loneliness are human experiences that we can fully accompany with patience and kindness.
In this Sunday morning meditation class, we will look to cultivate clarity of heart/mind through practices of relaxation, inner stillness and insight. We will explore Buddha’s traditional teachings (dharma) in a way that is modern, simple, nondogmatic and practical; with a clear view to the ways in which we can use meditation and mindfulness to free our hearts and minds in the midst of our busy and stressful lives.
This session will included two guided meditations, instructions for living mindfully with anxiety and depression,* as well as time for discussion and Q&A.
A simple joy is available to us any time that we can relax and be present with our experience. In fact, learning to relax and be still may be the single most important thing we can do to improve our life, our relationships and ultimately our world.
