We’re excited to be back in the Hut starting September 2020! Browse our Fall Series by scrolling through this page to find the class(es) that suit you.

Join us for any of our regular weekly classes (in person or online) by pre-registering to drop-in ($15/class) or ask us to pro-rate a Series Pass for $12/class. We also have a 6, 12, 18 or 24-class Nomad Pass that gives you the flexibility to attend any of our regular weekly classes. And a 1-month and 1-year Unlimited Membership. (See our Passes + Memberships.)

We’re now using Zen Planner for tracking attendance. We ask that you please pre-register as we are limited to 8 students per class! You can view and register for classes using our Zen Planner Calendar.

A note about the Zen Planner Calendar: when you are logged into Zen Planner with your student account, you will need to use the drop down menu and choose to view ‘All Calendars’ in order to see the full schedule. Otherwise you will only see classes that are associated with your pass/membership privileges.

In-Person class size is limited to 8 students per class (revised Nov 15). Due to coronavirus, even single drop-in class students MUST pre-register. Classes that have fewer than 4 students registered (24 hours before the class time) may be cancelled at the discretion of the studio or teacher.

Series

Your best value is purchasing a Series Pass for the weekly class(es) you would like to attend. If you are attending in person, purchasing the Series Pass guarantees your space in the Hut (we are currently limited to 10 yogis for safe social distancing!). Space permitting, you can also attend individual classes in these series by using a flexible Nomad Pass, Unlimited Membership or a Drop-In Pass (options for pricing appear when you click through to register). All of our series classes are also being broadcast live through zoom. You will see that for each class there is a place to register for In Person and a place to register for Online.

Root to Rise

Start your weekend reconnecting with yourself. ‘Rooting’ to create a foundation, alignment and confidence; ‘Rising’ to create spaciousness, flexibility and ease. This Saturday morning 60-min Hatha will be alternately led by Heather Fenton and Megan Bennett.

Free Your Mind Flow (Sun)

Get out of your head and into your body in this creatively sequenced 60-min Hatha Flow class, featuring imaginative flows, peak poses. A fun and challenging class!

Sunday Morning Sit

Join us for a half-hour guided meditation on Sunday mornings. On the last Sunday of each month this sit is extended to 12:30pm for our Dharma Study Group. Ask us for more details!

Viniyoga for Deep Rest

In these Monday evening online classes we will use Viniyoga to loosen up tensions that have accumulated during the day and incorporate aspects of Yoga Nidra and iRest to prepare us for a deep and restful night of sleep.

Ease in with Yin

Ease into a 90-min practice of Yin Yoga. In this introspective class, we’ll slow down and breathe deeply while settling into longer-held postures, encouraging the release of muscular tension, and targeting fascia and connective tissues.

First Flow, then Go!

Enjoy Friday morning yoga, with plenty of time after to go to the Port Colborne Farmers’ Market, relaxed and refreshed! In this 60-min Hatha Flow class, we’ll combine postures and breath work to help reduce stress, increase strength, focus and flexibility.

Courses

Courses are series that have closed registration, meaning your pass is only for these classes and the classes are not open to Drop-in or Nomad students.

Classical Hatha Yoga for Beginners

Learn the basics of Classical Hatha Yoga in order to build a stable foundation for your journey to balance. This introductory course will give you the tools and confidence you need to start and continue a daily practice of yoga, both on and off the mat.

How we are practicing social distancing in the Hut:

In-Person class size is limited to 8 students per class (10 for meditation classes). As you arrive, please be mindful of the entrance and allow for social distancing as you enter the lobby.

Do not come to the studio if you have any symptoms, including fever, dry cough and tiredness.

You are required to wear a mask as you arrive and leave, and any time you are not actively practicing on your mat. Please maintain the 2 metres social distancing and no touching/hugging.

The studio will not have props (other than chairs) available for the duration of the coronavirus outbreak, so please bring anything you require to make your practice comfortable: water bottle, blanket, cushion, blocks, straps etc. Please check the class/event description or check with your instructor for a list of props that are recommended to bring for the class. We will have some props, including inexpensive yoga mats ($15) available for purchase.
